I hope that you take this comment as mere curiosity and slight concern rather than demeaning and rude. I couldn't help but notice that the summary for your story, 'Twisted', sounded a WHOLE lot like that of 'Once Upon a Time', a popular television show aired by ABC. It seems like you took that, and switched a few details up, and wrote it all out again. Of course, there are different characters, but it isn't hard to match them with those from the initial TV show.
"There is a town, in Maine, where every storybook character you've ever known is trapped between two worlds." sounds a awful like what yours said. I'm confused on whether this is based off of the TV show, or if it is a mere coincidence that your story just so happens to be like that of Once. It seems unlikely for this to be a coincidence, but I can't make any assumptions without facts.
If, however, you did base your story off of Once Upon a Time, it would be appropriate to acknowledge that to your readers. Yes, you did switch it up, but cursed fairytale characters trapped in our world is the sole idea created by Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis.
I am not trying to come off as bossy or seem like a snob, I just believe that credit should be given where credit is due. Hopefully you read and respect my inquiries, seeing as I truly mean all of this in a civil and respectful way. Thank you! :)
