          ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀purest of bhaalspawn, borne of bhaal's own innards with no mother to speak of, DIRGE was raised by the poor family that found him the day of his creation. graced with a normal childhood, give or take his affinity for ripping apart defenseless creatures. try as they might to guide him away from turning this habit into something worse, his adoptive parents were only met with a bitter end. his true father called to him. the call brought a stronger urge for bloodshed, the call brought a twisted satisfaction from his village's bloody death, the call led him to his true home underneath the city of baldur's gate.
          
          ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀he rose quickly among them, favored by his father and worshipped by those in the family, on the road to that wretched ending bhaal so craved... but hubris was his downfall. blinded by it all, he was betrayed by one he thought so loyal. by a sister, a niece, a bhaalspawn that wanted to take his place as father's chosen– orin the red.
          
          ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀the lobotomy, the tadpole, it left him with not much more than a splitting headache. memories gone, all he knew was his name and this horrid feeling inside. these sick fantasies, dark urges so hard to control. the sense of autonomy was slim; he had to fight for it. this body was his, his mind was his own. he would not have it taken from him. he would not feed those urges.

"You, dragonborn. I would tread carefully if I were you. The path ahead has been trapped." A dragonborn with a thick accent, black scaled highlighted with a little gold sat in a nearby tree. In his claws, a curved dagger and a piece of wood he was slowly whitteling into shape. His expression was stoic and his clothing was tattered and rough, barely covering him up with leather and furs. His scales that were visible besides the tightly drawn dirty bandages around him were scarred and broken all over his body. He must've been living out in the wilderness for quite some time judging by his lean body and worn equipment. He gazed at the other with unfeeling yellow eyes.

/  hate to say he's still into his ex. after helping astarion and shadowheart divert from their darker paths and rejecting bhaal, he was trying so hard on that "i can fix him" mindset. if gortash had lived... lol no he couldn't fix him, but it sucks that he would've tried anyway

/  nothing can ever prepare me for bhaal lore every time it pops up, it's always some of the most vile shit. i don't think i'll ever really rp pre-amnesia or still evil dirge because of the discomfort it causes me. yes, i can imply certain things from his still fractured memories or the urge itself, but... i don't even wanna get into the kind of person he was, it's sickening stuff
