Read new ROR updates and chaps and Brunhilde bf confirmed?!

          	but fr did not expect him and Brunhilde to be THAT close lol, but ya learn smth new everyday. currently searched up more potential things about them and found INTERESTING sources that in Germanic and Icelandic mythologies and archives stuff like that the duo were actually MARRIED. 
          	
          	AND BOY DID I FIND A STORY-
          	
          	fr canon source outside the manga, that apparently aside from being a real valkyrie in norse mythos(albeit in Icelandic context) that Brunhilde was set to settle a debate between two kings and that she did not agree with the king, Odin favoured the dude decided to  be a bit of a douche and put her in a everlasting sleep surrounded by walls of fire bc of it. then later siegfried or otherwise known as Sigrud, a hero at the time found her and somehow manages to walk through the fire and gave her the magical kiss that wakes every princess, warrior or not back into the living. they later got engaged and all that happy lovey dovey stuff despite sigs love for travelling the place.
          	
          	BUT sig accidentally got a magical potion that made him forget his love for Brunhilde(DUN-DUN-DUN!). and later married some chick named Gudrun.
          	
          	But there was also smth else, bc Gudrun's brother, Gunnar was in 'love' with Brunhilde and wanted her for himself, so he persuaded Sig to help him. this is bc Gunnar cant pass the fire that encased where Brunhilde was staying at, so Sig disguising himself as Gunnar was able to pass through fire and reach Hilde. Later the two(brunhilde and gunnar) got married,  but gurl was smart and found out she was tricked.
          	
          	so she arranged for SIgs to be killed, and after finding out what went down and his death, she became so overcome with grief that during his funeral pyre she commited suicide so that in a way she will join him in the afterlife. 
          	
          	and like (X-X) this is the icelandic version of what happened! the other version says diff but like this one is-

but apparently in the Nieblungenlied(i think i butchered the spelling-) Brunhilde declared the man she will marry would only be one who could surpass her in tests of courage and strength. Siegfried(Sigrud) disguised as Gunther(Gunnar) passed the test and won Brunhilde over for Gunnar, but Hilde found out and arranged for Sig to be killed.  
          	  
          	  though, controversial l take but from wiki but the reason for her desire to kill Sig was bc of the dude's GUdrun and some quarrel she had with her. but in scandinavian tradition, Hilde did kill herself after Sig's death.
