How to Title Your Reading Lists With Taste (A Guide for Readers Who Care About Vibes)
Some of y’all are out here naming your reading lists like you’re labeling a junk drawer — “Random,” “Stuff,” “Idk,” “Books.”
And listen… that’s fine if you’re saving memes or grocery lists.
But stories?
Stories deserve intention.
A good list title should:
signal genre or vibe
show respect for the authors you’re saving
help you remember why you saved it
make your Wattpad profile look curated, not chaotic
Here are some easy upgrades:
❌ Instead of: “Random”
Try:
Dark Romance I’m Obsessed With
Stories That Ruined My Sleep Schedule
BWWM Excellence
Noir, Mystery & Midnight Vibes
❌ Instead of: “Maybe”
Try:
On My Radar
Potential Favorites
To Read When I Want Quality
❌ Instead of: “Stuff”
Try:
Soft Reads for Soft Days
High Drama, High Stakes
Fantasy Worlds I Want to Live In
The Goal
Your list title should feel like a mood, a promise, or a genre signal.
If you love the story enough to save it, give it a home that matches its energy.

@BLKGURLSMUSE I really do appreciate this. I am guilty of having one long list. My Adhd brain can't handle too many lists because it gets overwhelming, but I would like to try to categorize them better! lol
