@TheDarkMC1, hi thanks for your reply, its inspirational and means a lot to me. 
            I'm currently preparing for my finals so updates can only continue at the end of June. I was planning on working on it through my semester but assignments timing was bad and it all fell together.

Oh, thank you for enquiring. I haven't been posting because I'm currently focusing on my studies. I have the next chapter partially written up and my mind have been drifting to other series and fan fiction.
          I think around October, I'll publish the next chapter. I beleive in my last chapter, I mentioned how I'll be focusing on Izumi?

Yes, "Within The Deep Dark" hasn't been cancelled. I have just failed to update it. I'm currently a few days away from my finals so I'm focusing on my studies. It's also a reason why no updates have come after the summer holidays as the subjects I'm taking is much harder.
