Hey guys,
          
          I'm sorry, but I'm going to leave Wattpad. They have become entirely too controlling over if we post our writing profiles elsewhere and it's a little ridiculous at this point. Along with the lack of readers, I'm moving on. I was really trying on here, but I cannot stand the direction Wattpad is heading down. I can't even message my readers anymore and it sucks.

Is this site still active? Feel like it’s hard reaching an audience, I’m debating on possibly viewing other writing sites. 

Will update my stories soon! Looks like I caught something from work and my head is pounding, plus brain fog and nothing I write makes sense haha. 

First chapter of "The Heart of Castiel" is published! This is my novel that is similar to my Dimitri Series, but it's a little darker. Please let me know what you think!
          
          I did run out of time for "Shadows of Desire", but will try to have Chapter 5 posted tomorrow or by Sunday!

Good news! 
          
          While I’m working on Shadows of Desire, I’ll also be posting a new werewolf book similar to my Dimitri Series. However, while this will have similar humor it will also be a bit darker. My MMC will have a different personality compared to Dimitri, he’s not as goofy and is very standoffish. He will be crueler and colder before warming up to my MFC. He won’t have twin daughters, but will have a daughter and son. I’m not making his mate evil in this one though, but I will not reveal what her role is. 
          
          He will have brothers, but not a twin like the other one. The story will have humor, drama, heartbreak and whatever else I can toss in. I want to attempt a slow burn romance, it’s not exactly enemies to lovers but they aren’t friendly towards each other either. I’m also going to have some jokes regarding my MFC’s name, because I love what I do with it. 
          
          MFC will be like Rosalie, except more of a fighter and isn’t hopelessly in love with my MMC. I’m revealing far too much, so, you will need to read it to know what happens! 
          
          First chapter should be released tonight! And if I can squeeze time in, the fifth chapter for Shadows of Desire! 

First, I want to apologize for leaving everyone hanging for a year. 
          
          So much has happened this year and it included rebranding myself completely. I had to think over where I’d like my writing to go, what genres I’ll be sticking to, and how I’m even going to go about getting my name out there. Now, here are the things that have happened and what is going on. 
          
          - I graduated! I finally earned my Bachelor degree focusing in Creative Writing! That takes so much stress off my shoulders, allowing me more time to focus on my writing. 
          
          - I am working on my debut novel! This novel is going to be high fantasy with an enemies to lovers trope. The first book won’t focus too much on the romance, but it will provide foreshadowing. I want to build their relationship and create a slow burn type. This novel is not werewolf (shocker, I know), but it’s focusing on Fae. I have created kingdoms, a magic system, new creatures, and so much more. I’m setting my hopes to having it done by end of 2026/early 2027. Manuscript will need to be reviewed, edited, proofread again and then go through beta readers. 
          
          - I have created a patreon! I will keep my readers updated on my journey, share little bits and pieces for my debut novel, and have some blog posts about my life!           - I will be publishing a Mafia romance story on here and other places. It’s Sinful Desires, but completely redone. 
          
          That is all for now! So, expect some new things soon! I am sorry, again, for being so chaotic. School had taken over my life, plus a full time job as well. However, now, I’m throwing myself into my writing. 

Helo author I was reading Sinful Desires: Corruption and that whole tense bar scene with Salvatore stepping in on Raphael really stuck with me the mix of danger, tension and dark humor was perfect. There’s something about how their dynamic shifts in that moment that I can’t stop thinking about. How did you decide on the pacing for that confrontation?

          I know I have made empty promises, I’ve been so wrapped up with work and school, I couldn’t gather the energy to write. However, the good news is, I have that writing energy back. I need to take a bit to figure out where I am with my werewolf books, the mafia romance story will be redone. Salvatore will be the villain, but also the love interest ;) 
          
          Obsidian Part II will remain on another site for now, but I am going to be honest. I am lost with its plot right now, so I’m going to revisit the first book. Clean that up on the side and most likely publish it for free on here or elsewhere. I don’t plan on selling that series ever, unless I get a good legitimate offer. 
          
          For the bigger news though…
          
          I am completely redoing my brand. This account will soon be gone, I will write under a new pen name. You can find me under BRLarkspur. I did just publish a book today called The Maiden & The Dove. It’s a witch-fantasy story. This is to keep everyone entertained and practice my new writing and skills I’ve learned in school. I really want to re-write the Dimitri Series eventually. Make Dimitri broodier and make the series steamier. I was immature when I wrote it and was getting ideas from friends for it, so it needs cleaning up.

So, I’m creating a different website since it costs me $115 to keep the other one. I’m too tight with money to even attempt to afford that. But what if I made a Reddit or something where we can all just talk about random things too? I have a tumblr I plan on using more and will most likely write in there. 
          
          I’m working on Obsidian Part II chapters, I’ve just been swamped with working full time, going to school full time and personal issues in life. Thankfully, my husband is my biggest supporter and helps me a lot.
