Hey everyone, I'm very disheartened by the amount of people engaging with my book Matchmaker. One might say that it's selfish to ask more when I got more than 500 votes but apparently that's not the point here.

I'm very satisfied for the votes I've currently received. (Thanks to the lovely people who waited till the end) But the problem is I've noticed that the first few chapters have the highest no. of votes while the rest are in 8 or 9. What saddened me is that people did not really had the interest of reading till the end. I would agree if anyone says that the first few chapters didn't seem that "interesting", but I wanted you all to see the plot and twists as I further post the chapters.

Over the time I agree my half of the audience is no more active in wattpad but I would like to get some engaging audience.

If there's any writer who faced this and eventually worked everything out, I would like some advices from you.

@BTSARMY626043 Well, I could relate to you. I think the best solution is to finish your book as soon as possible and label it as a completed one. Since most of the readers don't like to wait and read, they prefer completed books. You can participate in contests here and mostly get into contests through Wattpad profiles. And there are communities you can try on. You can read other authors' books genuinely. I am sure most of them will appreciate and do a favor and read yours.

Overall, the best way is by engaging with other readers and writers.
