A Little Note From Me
I never thought writing fan fiction about a specific artist would be this challenging—not because it’s a hassle, but because it makes you want to understand the person behind the artist.
When I started this story, I was a very new ARMY—barely a little over two months in—and I knew very little about Jungkook beyond what I saw as an artist.
But the more I wrote, the more I realized how much learning about him helped me shape the character. Of course, this is fiction, and I’m not claiming to know the real Jungkook. But his artistry, personality, humor, vulnerability, and especially his duality inspired me so much.
I think there’s so much to appreciate about him—not just as an artist, but as a human being.
So I hope that while you’re reading this, especially if you’re an ARMY, you’ll find little pieces that make you appreciate him even more.
Because behind the fame and the fantasy, they’re still human.
I started writing because Jungkook inspired me. I kept writing because I wanted to understand the person who inspired the story.
