Hi there, I know it's absolutely insane Wattpad is going through this change, and everyone is floundering and wants to migrate over. But as someone who's been writing interchangeably on AO3 for almost 6 years I am going to urge you all not to migrate over in a big rush; avoid it if you can, especially as a writer/author.
I say this not to gatekeep, but to keep the flow and community of AO3 safe because a lot of fic writers there need the protection and creative freedom that they're allowed on there. At this current rate AO3 also cannot support the amount of newcomers, seeing as Wattpad has over millions of users and there is a 2 week waitlist to even join AO3, so millions of "refugees" would have to wait, you can't just hop on and join as easy as you do here.

Might I suggest, if people are going to migrate, try Quotev and Substack. These are other great alternative platforms to build up and/or continue your works. There is also Inkitt, Radish, and a newly developed app in the works that is similar to Wattpad with an OF subscription tier model. At the current moment, I forget the name of the last app, but please use these alternatives instead of hopping to AO3, and if you do, don't go reporting fics because you don't like the content or it goes against your morality code!
