In a world obsessed with heroes, Homelander became something far worse. Not a savior. Not a man. A god manufactured by cameras, propaganda, and fear.
To the public, he is the face of safety — smiling from television screens, rescuing civilians beneath fireworks and waving flags. But behind closed doors exists something unstable and deeply inhuman. A creature raised in laboratories and molded into America’s favorite weapon, starving endlessly for love while resenting humanity for withholding it honestly.
People disappear after criticising him online. Entire cities go silent during his appearances. Survivors whisper about the way he stares at people like he’s deciding whether they deserve to keep breathing. Some claim the televisions in their homes turn on by themselves after seeing him in person. Others swear they hear his voice in empty rooms.
No one can prove anything. No one wants to.
Homelander always needs to be loved. And people who stop loving him rarely survive long enough to regret it.
