I've never felt more alive than when I'm somebody else, creating a different name and a different life. It gives me an adrenaline rush, knowing that my own little world is mine, and nobody can touch it or tell me how it works. It makes the real world seem so much smaller and easier than it actually is. I'd like to think of my swimming as my day job, and writing as my own super secret hero career.
