AO3 USER HERE!! Hi guys, so I mainly read and write on ao3 nowadays, and because of the new update here on wattpad I’d like to just say PLS LOOK INTO AO3 EDICT! Yes there are some fucking horrific things on ao3 but it’s an archive. And recently people who have made this switch have been mass reporting fics with inappropriate content. As an original user of wattpad I understand where those people are coming from but please if you don’t like the content of a fic DON’T READ IT. There is a very good tagging system on ao3 that lets you censor whatever tags you dislike. It’s in the right corner of ao3 and you can go into it and censor whatever tags you don’t want to see. Um yeah that’s kind of it, I doubt anyone will see this but I just wanted to mention it because it’s been about 2 years since I’ve started using ao3 and so this sudden switch is forcing a lot of people over to wattpad without giving time for a proper transition of websites. I also hear people say that you can use fanfic.net if you want more censorship.
