Pft, just a thing I should say
If you can't handle critism don't be a writer. Don't be an artist. Don't do anything. If you make a movie people will rate it. If you write people, like your teachers will always find ways to help you improve. People will give love and constructive criticism to help you grow and explore. If you can't handle that, then something's wrong with you. If you are only ever told you are perfect or the best at something you won't try to get better, you won't learn. If you don't want it. Ignore it but remember people are wanting to help you. Artists grow by self analysis and asking others. We don't always see our mistakes, in writing and stuff and if it's a common habit trope we need it pointed out for it to be broken.
Never say you don't "need" critism. EVERYONE CAN IMPROVE and everyone needs it. Whether you want it, is another thing. When someone points something out, or gives you some advice they don't expect you to follow them. They want to offer you that choice. They aren't holding you at gunpoint to fix it. They are wanting to help you improve in the future. Of course I'm not saying people should write longer essays of constructive criticism randomly. No, but small things. Politely requested if they're a habit or such. Only long reviews if asked. Constructive criticism helps people grow, it's important to be able to handle it. If you think it's fine, don't listen to it. Yet you don't ever bash people for their opinions or wishing to help.
