Just made this because I'm sick of reading shitty fan fics.
Here's some tips
Stop writing about real people
Stop being broing aka:
-I talk back to authority
-I'm a natural beauty.
-I get bullied all the time
-I'm super smart
-They think I'm the prettiest girl ever
-I'm a loner
-I like old thing. (special snowflake complex.)
-I'm nice to everyone
the inverse is also boring
-I'm loud and obnoxious
-I skip class
-I'm academically inept
Collectively boring things
-Everyone wants me sexually but I'm too shy
-Everyone wants me sexually but I'm pure
-Everyone wants me sexually but I'm too good.
-I could NEVER be the bad guy.
-(mostly when females write fanfiction) Any other female character is there to protect me, irrelevant, doesn't talk much. (basically ignoring female characters)
-I listen to (insert old band or any old piece of music) (look at you!! G old s ta r!)
-Making the rude girls makeup obsessed, blonde, tall, air headed "popular girls"
-Making the rude girl get told off by the guy who likes you.
-Having the rude girl get hit or embarrased
-Making a snarky comment to the rude girl and having everyone be impressed.
-Being shy
