yo man can I have my name back

Just came out as bi to my parents! They are supportive but say that I might be “too young” to truly know my sexuality. And that “I have my whole life ahead of me to define myself.” I can hear them whispering in the other room and I’m really nervous.

It’s my birthday!! I am a year older. Has my maturity level changed? Not at all.
