Just a reminder that if you’re in a city or town with Hatzalah you can call them instead of an ambulance and it’s FREE. I know a lot of ambulances (in the US at least) cost money, but genuinely why would you pay for that when you’ve got a qualified volunteer group ready to help? I’m only bringing this up because I saw someone talking about how much they spent on an ambulance and it’s genuinely insane. I asked why they didn’t call hatzalah and they said they thought it was only for Jews. It’s not only for Jews, it’s for anyone and everyone. Don’t spend hundreds of dollars on an ambulance ride when you can get it (often) quicker and for free. Go check to see if your home town/city has it. 
          
          Also do yourself a favor and search up “Modi on hatzalah” it’s very funny. Great comedian.

“Shave and a haircut, two bits” might be my favorite old timey-meme… not that they had the concept of memes back then. How good does a meme have to be for us to still use it over 100 years later? 
          
          Anybody else have examples of this sort of thing? Other memes I’m forgetting?

Wattpad banning smut is simultaneously great for me and horrible for all the weirdos on this app. It’s fun to watch all the chaos this is causing. This may actually get me to read more on here now that it’ll be harder to accidentally come across smut. 
          
          Good move, Wattpad! I just wonder how long before the weirdos all leave this app and I’m the last man on here. 

Ah, Bots of Wattpad… you’re the worst. You think you’ve just gotten a real comment, then….BOOM! It’s a bot trying to trick you into giving them your discord. Why? No idea. But it’s annoying as hell.

I’d love to one day find a bunch of likeminded Jews and move to the middle of nowhere, start a new community where we can still see the night sky at its full brilliance. I want to see satellites and shooting stars race through the sky, I want to see hundreds of stars shining at once, I want to see the milky way and the andromeda galaxy hanging in the sky. 
          
          I know this’ll never happen, but I hope one day I at least get to see the sky at its least light polluted and most beautiful. When I was in Yeshiva I used to spend some nights just staring up at the sky, because even in a major city outside the US I still saw more stars in the sky than I see outside my home in the suburbs of the US.
