Update for those who are worried about what happened. 
          I called my brother and he came over and helped me look through the house and we found nobody, thank god. 
          I’m honestly really grateful that it was either me imagining things, or something. I’ve had similar experiences in the past, but my step-dad actually broke into my moms old house, and I think that’s why I was so paranoid.
