@SapphireMoon53 To some degree it was inspired from that anime (the very beginning) but otherwise, a lot of it was experiences I may have had before as I’ve experienced some forms of bullying due to my hearing loss. I’ll add that to the description, though!
@SapphireMoon53 thank you! I have actually seen that anime, but most of the idea comes from myself as I am hearing impaired as well and have experienced a few things. I also wear hearing aids in both ears, so I know what it’s like lol
Okay so I really think you’re off to a good start! I’m curious where you’re going to take this because I see two ways. 1) this goes in the angsty direction 2) Kim Jiwoon slowly turns the boys hearts. Or if you really want surprise us. Either way you go I’m sure it will be great!! Also I don’t know if you’ve ever seen the anime A Silent Voice (I cried for the whole movie) it’s a bit similar to this so I’m wondering if you were inspired by it? (If so put in the description so that way people can’t be mean about and say you didn’t credit it) (this is also coming from a new writer too and we both don’t know what kind of audience we will attract so just to be safe just put it in). You were spot on in mimicking the (mild) deafness in Jiwoon to real life! My best friend is actually half deaf and it’s a bit of a challenge talking to her in a crowded hallway. But we both adapted her deafness eventually!! Anyways I really hope the right people find this story because it’s gonna be a great one. <3
