You may have noticed the rebrand. Farewell, Lily Avenue. It was fun while it lasted. Old stories have also been archived, sorry. Thankfully I'm no longer sixteen.

Some of you may have noticed I've been on a bit of a hiatus as of late. I've always loved my followers and readers and try to be honest as much as I can so I only feel it's fair to explain why you haven't been getting any updates.
It all really started about a year ago when my mom had her first heart attack. She ended up needing a very serious heart procedure and survived, but a few months later had another minor heart attack. She was never really the same, but we just figured she needed time to heal. She developed a cough that wouldn't go away until eventually she asked her doctor about it, he assured her it was something simple like allergies or possibly bronchitis, but unfortunately he was very wrong and about a month ago it became too much for my mom to handle and she decided to go to the hospital. They found the cancer in her lungs first but couldn't figure out where it was coming from. The her lung collapsed and started filling with fluid and her kidneys failed. What at first was an eight month plan for recovery soon because a 2 week ultimatum to a few days left to live to, "she's on her last 24 hours." She passed away December 18th 2014 peacefully and surrounded with love. I will never be able to fully explain what she meant to me or what she did for me.
I don't mean to bring down anyone's day but I thought I'd put it out there so there are no random or untrue speculations. Thanks for the continued support. My mom was a writer and I am because of her and will continue to be, if only to make her proud.
@LilyAvenue I'm extremely sorry for your loss, especially since it's your mother. Continue to stay strong and even if we don't know each other, I'll always be here if you need someone to talk to.
@LilyAvenue I wish I could give you a hug right now, I'm so so sorry that you're going through this, it absolutely blows but I sincerely hope you get through this, she's resting in peace if you need to talk, I'm an inbox away
