          I think it's because Mass effect ship weapons, Including the Reaper's Main Gun, can only do Damage in the Kilotons because of Eezo's restrictions 
          
          Since Halo Macs don't use any kind of Eezo, They don't have those kinds of restrictions and can deal damage going from Kilotons to Gigatons depending on the variant
          
          The Mass effect Dreadnoughts shoot 20 kilogram rounds
          
          Halo Macs (Depending on what kind) can shoot 50 - 3k ton rounds

So, I may have gotten carried away with the next chapter of COTP. IT sits at 11,000+ words, which is the endpoint I'm looking at. Now I just need to refine it. I,ve also started using Grammarly to spell check and bounce ideas off of. Now I understand a lot of you will worry that this means the story is completely written by AI, but that is not the case. It gives me ideas and helps me properly structure everything; it does not write the story itself. This also helps some of the issues I've been facing, like proper spacing of events and cohesion of the timeline. At the end of the day, this is a hobby, and I can't dedicate a full schedule to writing, proofreading, correcting, and refining the story like I could if I did this for a job. So to sum it up, this is still written by me, it's still my storytelling following my vision, now I just have a not useless autocorrect and a real-time commenter helping me write. As you may have noticed, that also means that chapters can, potentially, come faster than I originally thought, as I no longer have to rewrite thousands of words' worth of story to make it sound coherent and not like the mumblings of a toddler. Anyway, that's all from me, see ya in a few days or so when I'm finally done with this monster of a chapter!
