Turned 23 today ^-^
          
          Got BG3 for my birthday...I can finally stop making excuses and actually play the game:')
          
          It's too bad Larian had to double down on their Al usage shortly after I asked for it but it is what it is ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
          
          I also got a reading light, Hellblazer Omnibus Vol. 1 and a special edition Monster High doll my mom surprised me with
          
          (As if I didn't need any more hyperfixations/spins, doll collecting, danmei, and DVDs are slowly taking over my life lol)

I saw Wicked: For Good last night (my AMC had an early screening) and it was amazing ^^
          
          The only thing that sucks is that I can’t listen to any of the songs officially until the soundtrack comes out in two days :’)

I watched K-pop Demon Hunters two nights ago and loved it. I’d been putting it off for so long bc I assumed as someone who isn’t  that into K-pop (no malice or ambivalence, just never fully delved into it but I’m aware it exists, etc) I wouldn’t enjoy or connect with it at all.
          
          I finally caved bc yet another cover artist I followed was doing a cover for it so I decided to watch to see what all the fuss was about.
          
          And I’m so glad I did, it was so fun with a surprisingly emotional center and I can’t stop listening to the soundtrack. ‘This Is What It Sounds Like’ almost made cry…which is a huge deal bc things rarely make me genuinely tear up. Other emotions yes or close to it but not actual tears :’)
          
          It wasn’t perfect but I don’t think it needed to be. I’d be interested to see what the sequels explore—I’d love to see Zoey or Mira’s backstories or how Rumi’s parents met. Or really any world building at all. The lore sounds so interesting ^^
          
          Out of the Huntri/x girls, I think Mira was my favorite followed closely by Rumi and Zoey. But I’m biased: I like snarky characters with troubled families or characters that have more hidden depths than it first looks like…most characters I create end up in those two camps lol
          
          I needed some levity in my life rn as my math course is quite demanding and I have not been sleeping well lately (not helped by the fact that the only time my writing muse decided to come out lately is while I’m actively trying to sleep -_-)
          
          I’m hoping this obsession will hold for a bit until I can buy BG3 in December…or finish Buffy which I’m currently watching…or after I watch Wicked: For Good; whichever comes first :3

Hi everyone. Just wanted to give a mini update on why I’ve been MIA recently. 
          
          School started up early September and my parents bought a house recently so my life has been super busy. We’re not moving into it any time soon but it’s sort of a fixer upper so we’ve going up every weekend to work on it.
          
           I told myself if I get at least a D in my math course that I’ll get BG3 :3
          
          (I know, I know. I’m very late. I actually meant to buy it last year but I chickened out at the last minute XD)
          
          Anyway,, I’ll hopefully be back soon <3

          (Idk if the numbers are entirely accurate but I have not played many games as I thought I had…though I also play the same games over and over again. Without Steam I wouldn’t find anything new lol)

Taking down Midnight Visits briefly…watching Superman yesterday inspired me to write again so I want to keep this going for however long it lasts.
          
          I also need to edit chapter 1 because there’s quite a few egregious typos and seeing them makes me die a little inside lol

Just watched Superman. It was really good ^^ My parents also enjoyed it which is a plus as they don’t know as much about this stuff as I do

Going to see the Superman movie today…I’ll let you all know what I thought of it when I get back :)
          
          (Also this is really silly but I coordinated an outfit with my Batman shirt and Justice League shoes for this and it makes me happy lol)

I made the mistake of reading an article this morning about why my generation is having less sex and it made me angry :’)
          
          Then I went on a walk with my mom this morning, deciding to rant about it, and she agrees with me, so I felt very validated lol
          
          It’s from WIRED and it’s an interview with this woman who interviewed a sample size of young people that explained their anxieties around sex. And the article makes some good points about how a lot of it is outside factors like abstinence education and being in a world post roe, etc.
          
          Mostly I just feel like ‘who cares?’ 
          
          Not bc some people’s experiences are invalid but bc I just want one of these articles worrying about my generation not having sex to just straight up say that it’s okay to wait or not have sex at any age.
          
          I just want someone to remind society that we were all told lies about what age you should be doing x, y and z
