I'm dying over your first statement! My oldest granddaughter sang "I'm a potatoe" when she was learning to drive the tractor when she was 10 with her grandpa! He caught it on tape its one of our greatest memories! 
               Please continue your book. 
          1) too many people will want to read the ending!
          2) by writing this story you have already achieved more than a majority of the population! If you don't complete it, you will just leave a "dangling participle"!
