My poor dad has what we think to be the beginning stages of alzheimer's and his cat died last night. I found poor Mister Phil (the cat) this morning as I was getting up to feed the rest of my cats. Knowing my dad would be heartbroken if he found out, I buried the poor kitty without waking my dad. I don’t want him to be miserable and blame himself when it definitely wasn’t his fault his cat died. Did I make the right decision? If he thinks the kitty ran away then maybe he’ll feel better about himself and I’ll never say anything to lie or prove him wrong. I just feel bad now
