Hey folks.  Wattpad has updated its policies and guidelines.  I think my future on this platform is coming to an end.   
          
          Going forward I’m going to strictly post updates and new fics on A03 only.   I’m sorry if this poses issues for you as a reader.   Wattpad is not what it once was for writers.  It’s time to move on. All the best to each of you.

@Beatlegirl1968 This is why I think AO3 is more material and suitable for writers and readers nowadays. Before these policies and guidelines were issued, more people were already converting to AO3, and I could see why...

@adoredrogandbri I am seeing more chatter about people leaving Wattpad and going to A03 exclusively.  I found out the reason why A03 will never have an app version of their site is many vendors who offer app platforms for websites have strict policies about the content.  Fanfics and the freedom to write them as we currently do are not in alignment with those policies.

I don’t understand it either.  They certainly don’t have insight into what is popular with most readers.   They just have their agenda and they’re not keeping space for mature content.

Hey readers!  I wanted to update you.  I have moved house and am ardently working to get unpacked and organized.   I did manage a few paragraphs last night on a new chapter.  Hang in there.  Hope to publish in the next few days.  Should be back in a regular writing schedule soon.  
          
          Happy New Years!  Hoping 2026 is not the shit show that 2025 has been.
