I can barely remember what happened from 2020 to 2024, it all feels like a blur. Time moved so fast. Sometimes I’m shocked when I read my old comments on stories and realize how many years have gone by without me even noticing. I literally widen my eyes in surprise seeing how long it’s been.
I’m trying to find the courage to write again. Studying political science or honestly, just being in college has drained me these past few years. I’m about to major in international relations this 3rd year, and I want to feel that passion for writing again. This summer break, I’ve been reading stories and fixing plot holes in my ongoing story. I always joke that maybe I’ll finish it once I’m in law school, but the real goal is to complete it before then
Sometimes I get too focused on what I have to deal with right now that I end up forgetting the things that used to make me happy. Even reading stories here has become hard for me, except for Mahriyumm’s works, which I reread just a few days ago. For a while, they made me feel that spark again, but now it’s gone again (imo stories rajud ari ako balik-balikan, ate yam! Hahaha) and I’m trying to find it back.
I really miss the old Wattpad and the old version of myself who used to read non-stop. Life has a way of tiring you out in so many ways. I just want to slowly find my way back to the things that once gave me joy :((
