I am 17 and love to write. I recently spent 4 months in a behavioral health facility for depression, anxiety, and suicidal ideation. I have come so far from who I was. I am now 5 months clean of self harm and plan to get further. Black Heart, my first story, was written inside the hospital and read by the girls I lived with in there. It truly is a gift to know they loved it and are supporting me from afar. I am a new person and I hope to share my journey with you all. I hope to inspire others with my story and go on to help people who were in my position. I fought, I worked hard, and most of all I SURVIVED.
