Bec Hefron is a writer and high school maths teacher based in Toowoomba, QLD. She's been writing quietly for years but only recently started sharing her work more widely with some of her work short- and long-listed in the Australian Writers' Centre's Furious Fiction competition. When not wrangling numbers or teenagers, she writes fiction that leans into the strange, speculative, and quietly emotional.
