Okay, so I've thought it over and I think I might be posting stories first on Quotev, and then posting them when I am done on Wattpad. (Which knowing me I'll never finish)
Reason being is that Quotev is a bit easier to use for me, but at the same time, it has a couple of problems like not being really compatible with Grammarly, unlike Wattpad which works with it.
But really that's the only downside to it, I love how Quotev looks and how it feels (if that makes any sense) and also I don't know why but Quotev seems to have people more interested in my fandoms? Like whenever I post there I get super excited because people are actually reading my story.
Hell, I posted a story maybe less than a month ago and it's already caught up with The Broken City in terms of reads.
Although it's probably my fault because Broken City doesn't really have an eye-catching name or I guess flavor to it. It's supposed to be a rewrite of Gotham's Blight, which made me really happy at the thought of rewriting my very first fanfiction, mostly because after a certain point I was left unhappy with how it came out and how I wrote it.
Gotham's Blight has six times the amount of reads Broken City does, and if I had to guess why it's because of the names and how I kinda sold them at first glance.
Gotham's Blight had a better name and a better cover, showing that it was a Batman related fanfiction meanwhile The Broken City is just kinda bland and the cover didn't even have anything to show that it was even related to anything Batman.
So yeah, it was most likely my fault for Broken City not being as read as much as its predecessor, but anyway sorry for the such a long post, kinda just needed to get that off my chest.
Anyway! If you want to read any of my stuff, go over to my Quotev, just look for Bedsheet Bandit and I should be the only one there. =D
