In all honesty, I don’t understand how or even why soloing behind your head is seen as this ‘Advanced Party Trick’ in the guitar world…..and to keep it a stack, the only people who I’ve seen be impressed by this are…..well, non-guitarists.
          
          Seriously, there’s really nothing special that’s going on there…..if you’re in any way familiar with the fretboard, you can feel the scale shape in your hand, it doesn’t go anywhere just because you can’t look down and see it.
          
          I guess the only kinda ‘hard thing’ is efficiently picking the right notes when the guitar is literally bent behind you but…..ehh, don’t think too much about it. If I could get it down at 15…..any idiot can.

            I totally agree with you!
            Even though I'm not a guitarist, I can see it can be pretty easy to play the guitar like that. It's just like when someone plays an instrument with their eyes shut and not looking at what they're playing. Some people think doing stuff like this is literally a miracle, but it's not like that really... :/

          STOP ATTRIBUTING THE ‘THUMB METHOD’ TO ONLY JIMI HENDRIX, GUITAR PLAYERS!!!
          
          Seriously, why do YouTubers act so fucking
          brain-dead when it comes to things like this? 
          
          Yes, Hendrix was a phenomenal player. Yes, Hendrix had unnaturally large hands which he put to good use. Yes, there’s many styles of mixing R&B with Rock elements that we can date to back to him.
          
          BUT HE WASN’T THE ONLY HUMAN ALIVE THAT WAS CAPABLE OF USING HIS THUMB FOR CHORD VOICINGS!!
          
          Not naming names, but look at virtually any guitar player from the 1940s-1966 (Before Hendrix even came on the scene) What are they constantly doing? Ohhhh…..they’re using their thumb a whole bunch aren’t they? In fact, they’re using voicings that modern-day players RARELY use anymore (John Lennon, for starters)
          
          Like seriously, when even shitty, strummer-songwriter types (Buddy Holly, Everly Brothers) are doing it….in the FIFTIES……we’ve got to put that stupid idea to bed.
          
          But hey, it’s guitarists. We’re the laughing stock of the entire musician community. (Screw you, if you have a guitar in your room and don’t know theory. Seriously, screw you.)

John Lennon’s rhythm playing on ‘Hold Me Tight’…..ridiculous, absolutely ridiculous…..he seriously needs more credit as a guitarist, doesn’t he?
          
          My hand is tired from just LISTENING to it….possibly the most busiest Beatles riff in their catalogue….well, that and ‘All My Loving’.

Hey all (I mean, people who actually read my stuff)…..been getting the itch to write even more, but NOT just on ‘Where Does Time Go?’…..been meaning to branch out quite a bit and get out of the whole Classic Rock ~ 50s, 60s sort of vibe…
          
          Not gonna disclose much, but if you see a new series upload that is centred around the American grunge culture of the ‘West Coast’ in the 80s/90s……then that’s my branch out…….never truly written American characters before, but there’s always a first time for everything…..
          
          Still writing ‘Where Does Time Go?’….next three pilot chapters are coming along nicely….a bit too nicely….

          I guess you already know that for now I'm busy with final exams....don't worry, I'm not leaving The Birdies. it's just that this Thursday and Friday, I must study for the physics exam which is probably the hardest exam I'm gonna have. so, if you send any messages in the group chat during these two days and I don't see it, don't think I'm ghosting y'all. 
          I'll get back to work on Saturday. because after that, all the exams that I have are all easy and won't get my time much :)

            You know, I could use this opportunity to assert my dominance over all of Wattpad and say ‘I don’t need you or your violin prowess’….but I’m not a dickhead and certainly not a petty blighter either.
            
            We’re all wishing you luck, kiddo. Crush those tests and stomp off while not giving one fuck about them…..solos can be composed a bit later anyway….they’re only the icing on top of the heavily mixed together cake that is the title track….get back on track when you feel ready to, not because some ugly bastard said so.
