I stayed awake 2 days straight simply bc I had this fic idea and I couldn't keep it down without finishing it. Just finished it with 10 chapters. I literally even forgot to have lunch and dinner bc of it.

@TheOgHobamussy i meannnn. ik a few songs from beyonce. i wouldn’t say im a fan. but tbh i don’t think i’ve met a HUGE fan of hers here in the US either. Like yes she has AMAXING music (the ones that ik) and to agree with the other comment, she literally known as queen bee, and then destiny’s child (the group she came from) idk how to explain her music tho. i’d say like RnB mostly i think. very good music to dance too. i dont know if that was helpful 

@TheOgHobamussy HI THANKS FOR THE ANSWER!!! I am genuinely speechless, it's so funny how different artists and their popularity are perceived in different parts of the world. I never got the Beyoncé/Jay-Z hype, although people on the internet call them legends, music moguls, King and Queen of the industry, while I could only name 3 Beyoncé song and (with all the love) 0 Jay-Z songs. (Don't get me wrong, I probably know a few of his songs, but would have never guessed they were his) It's so WEIRD to see people praise them so intensely, while the rest of the world (yes, I'll allow myself to be the judge for the entire world haha) goes: I thought Harry Styles, Billie, TS, Ed Sheeran, Sabrina, ... are the biggest names of the music industry (as of right now). WHAT I AM TRYING TO SAY IS: it's weird for people to claim "Beyoncé should have won", when - yes, she has very famous and popular songs - but they are definitely not even half as relevant in most parts of the world as they are in the US. From her latest releases, I have only ever heard the Texas song, that's it. While Harry's songs get frequently used in bloody cooking shows around here- Maybe I am living in a huge bubble and Beyoncé can't seem to get through. ANYWAYS, thank you so much for the reply, always love to hear how others perceive certain things <33
