          Too bad it went down, hope you write another amazing story soon.....

Assallaamu alaikum guys. 
          
          I know I didn't update for ages. I really want to update and complete Inked Love as soon as possible. I know you guys want updates also. In shaa Allah I will try my best to update soon.
          
          I am getting a lot of messages requesting for updates. I am so glad you guys love my book enough to want more of it. But as of now, I can't update. I want you guys to know it. 
          
          I have been tested positive for covid-19. My entire family as well. We are prescribed to take as much of rest as we can. So you guys should know,  as of now,  updates won't come anytime soon. 
          
          Please include me and my family in your prayers. And you all be safe too, eat healthy foods and stay at home.

Assallaamu alaikum guys. It has been so long since I updated, so I thought to post a tiny part of the upcoming chapters, you will get some idea. It is still a draft, so you may expect changes too. I hope you guys are doing well. In shaa Allah. Stay safe, please. I would love to know how you guys are doing <3

As the days passed in blur, my heart churned in anticipation of his arrival every second. Everything around me seemed to swirl backwards, for I believed in his promise. The failed promises.
          
          He said he won't take long to be back.
          
          He said he would be there for me in our new journey.
          
          He painted my hopes with his promises.
          
          Had I seen way past the snippets of his actions, utterances of empty promises, ocean of his dark eyes, softness of his smiles, may be, I wouldn't be sitting here amidst the broken words and shattered hopes now.
          
          I had always perceived life in the black and white, because seeing beyond it needed a vision I refused to acknowledge, let alone possess it. And I deduced I was doing just fine, with my narrow perception, and by building my little world.
          
          But the tears cascading down my cheeks were narrating otherwise.
          
          I realised, this world was not always about black and white, right and wrong, a colourful dream and a dark reality. 
          
          It was all in between. Balancing the grey hue it was and, seeking solace with the hope that one day this grey clouds looming over us would let the sun shed its ray.
          
          "Zuhair," My voice broke, his name revolved around the eerie silence of our room. 
          
          The chirping of the birds ceased my strings of thoughts,  the sunrays pooled the room through the shielded curtain. It marked the birth of yet another day.
          
          He told it would be only a week. 
          
          But it had been already a month, with no words from him. He seemed to be blurred into the oblivion, with no trace of his existence. 
          
          Perhaps, we held him caged so long that when he learned to fly he forgot his way back home.
          
          "Forgive me, Zuhair."

          I hope you all are doing great in your lives, in shaa Allah :) And also, please be safe and avoid unnecessary outings.  
          
          I was actually planning to update one more chapter before Ramadan starts. But I couldn't finish it yet due to many reasons. So sorry for that :(
          
          As per our rule, there will be no updates during Ramadan. I don't want you guys to wait for my updates. But in shaa Allah, we will finish Inked Love after Ramadan very soon. We have only 2 more chapters (probably epilogue too) to end the book.
          
          I am hoping to complete it as soon as Ramadan ends, In shaa Allah. 
          
          And Jazakumullah khairan for all your comments and votes on my book and recent updates. You guys have no idea how much it means to me. I am really humbled to read each comment. Your comments always elevate my mood, you guys know that. Alhamdhullilah ❤ I will reply to all of your comments after Ramadan. In shaa Allah. 
          
          May Almighty bring tranquility to our hearts in this Ramadan and forgive all our sins. May this Ramadan bring us closer to our Almighty. May this Ramadan be a step closer to Jannah. Aameen.
          
          In shaa Allah, I hope we all spend this Ramadan in the best ways and utilise it in Allah's path. Please keep me in your precious duaas. That would mean a lot to me. In shaa Allah ❤
