See that girl you just called fat? She is starving herself. You know that girl you just called ugly? She spends hours putting on make-up hoping people will like her. That boy you just tripped? He is abused enough at home. See that old man you made fun of cause of the ugly scars? He fought for our country. See that young boy you just made fun of for always being sick? He has to walk home in the snow cause his family is too poor. That guy you just made fun of for crying? His mother is dying.

The Heroes of Olympus taught me that nothing is eternal, except pain and love which go on forever. They also taught me that sometimes you either need to cry or laugh, and laughing is usually the better option.

The Narnians taught me to have faith even when the world is calling and screaming at you to give it up.

The Golden Trio taught me that you don't have to do everything alone, you'd be dead without your friends, who are always there for you. If there's a secret you can't tell them, their either not your real friends, or you care for them to much too.

I taught myself that these worlds are true and that the people writing about them are messengers, so you should listen when they tell you about it, these worlds and people want to meet you. But how can they if you won't listen?
