Once upon a time, I wanted to be a writer. It was the only thing I did well, after all... At that time, I had no idea there was more to being a writer than writing. The eventual discovery put me off the vocation for years.
Many years later, I wondered if I was still any good at creative writing. I had recently discovered Wattpad, and thought it would be interesting to rework an old project with a more mature perspective. As I'm now a law student, it's slow going, but I'm glad to see I still can write more than papers and briefs! I've also found writing for the contests to be surprisingly fun and therapeutic, leading to some short stories.
