I would describe myself as an aspiring writer. It's something I've done in the past, but that's a bit too typical. If you have written something, whether it's brilliant or simple, you are a writer. The hard part is finding the courage to share your words with others.
It seems easy enough in theory. Words are only words after all. They come and go easily and we are all word factories in our daily life. The pause comes when we decide to put meaning behind them. When we go past the automatic robotic "hello's" and "good mornings". When we say something we feel, something real... that's when it becomes more than words. When you write something down and you have to think long and hard before you share it. Before you hit that send button, before you seal the envelope. When the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end because you know these words could change everything. You're terrified, you're excited, you're more anxious than you've ever been.
That's what Remains means to me. I hope it'll mean the same to you. I plan to have it officially released in Ebook format this summer.
