Current HSC Planned Route:
(Made by Narry + Refined by The Cats)
1. High School Catastrophe: The main gangster, also known as 20k random words drop. Will be the most exhausting to read and the most detailed shit to. Expect fighting and arguing, and maybe other high school shits.
2. Project: Imperial Soul [nonsensical name]: The secondary gangster, produces semi-consistent backstory drops that focus on specific characters and their main keylines. Has a lot of life stories, philosophies, gut-wretching and questionable choices. These are mostly in the past, so characters' personalities are VASTLY different to current HSC.
3. Canto: Imperfect Souls (in dev): Even more gut-wretching shits but it's for the current roaster. Oh and also we love fighting. Probably suit more for those who don't go thinking about the past. May consist of lore-important characters and goofy shits.
4. The Battle Cats book: Totally important, trust. Cat Foods are very necessary to the birth of this universe. [Source: Hippoe]
5. Six seven
You can choose any style you want to read.
- Read HSC in full then check backstories and Cantos (average full-game -> DLC)
- Backstories -> HSC -> Canto (more chronological but inconsistent in timeline)
- Backstories -> Canto -> HSC (is the best one yet kinda nonsense if you don't read the correct one)
What we would recommend is Ubercarry.
We mean, HSC first then switch to Canto in case you don't want to see a character changes their personality right after 1 chapter. (Canto is very important for development) [there will be specific headways in case you can't drive]
Backstories support the backbone but you can ignore. Some do help a lot, like establishing relationships or notable things in specific characters.
All in all, read something else that's not ours. You're more expecting for GTA VI than us.
