Ya know that feeling when you start a story, get a few chapters in, then it's just like "ehhhhh" and your motivation rapidly dwindles down to a small flickering flame of a candle? Yeah, that's me with every story I have so far. I really want to post, but I just can't bring myself to write, ya know? Sorry if I disappoint one of you kind readers that have started one of my books. Maybe if someone could just nag me continuously, I would finally get it done? Maybe, I dunno haha. Oh well, maybe someday I'll get another chapter in

Oh, I definitely know that feeling. I remember looking back at my old work and just cringing at it, thinking "why did I have to make this so cringy? I forced myself to write, didn't I?"
But forcing yourself will just make it harder.
          	  Quality over quantity.
Many writers take YEARS to complete a book.
It has to flow naturally, or it's not going to be your best work.
This was announced nearly 4 years ago, but I just thought I kinda needed to say this.
Writing is like a river. If it flows naturally, it produces beauty, grace, and to some fear all at once. If it is forced to flow, like in a swamp or somewhere unnatural, all that is seen produces fear, disgust, and it will feel out of place, it is forced.
If you can't write, you can't write! You may have completely lost interest. But you don't have to give up on it, you can just re-read your own chapters you made, until maybe the candle lights itself up again.
Being forced to write is like forcing a lion to become a cute cuddly cat. It doesn't work well.
