Hello, thank you for taking the time to look at my profile.

I'm an aspiring author/writer, living in the south-west of England, surrounded by countryside and (on rare occasions when it's too cold to go out) snow. Thankfully, the snow doesn't last. 

My favourite genres are Comedy, Fantasy, Young Adult, and Non Fiction (Autobiography). Fantasy, for me especially, having always been a means of escape from a much darker reality. 

As a young teenager, I began suffering from depression and was never officially diagnosed. I'm happy to say, that against over-whelming odds, I made a full recovery. I'd very much like writing to be my future. It's become my true passion over the last five or six years. One which has required huge amounts of determination, dedication, and perseverance.

I'm also an active member of the Authonomy community. 

Five years on (and 23,000) words in, I finally consider that my Children's novel (a Comedy/Fantasy aimed broadly at both Children and Adults) just might get published. It's currently ranked within the top 200 books on Authonomy.

In closing, my main sources of inspiration have been the late (great) Roald Dahl, and, of course, Sir Terry Pratchett himself!
