The inland waterways of Great Britain are a world unto themselves.  Once the canals were working areas along which the general public were not allowed.  However trade decreased and a leisure industry was formed with the canals and towpaths open to all.  Families began to live on boats on the canals and it is such a family that I have joined.

Reading my stories, relayed through David, you will see that I am a young bollard with all of my life before me.  I fall in love, am dropped by my love (who loves another), and so go traveling on the canals.
