The inland waterways of Great Britain are a world unto themselves. Once the canals were working areas along which the general public were not allowed. However trade decreased and a leisure industry was formed with the canals and towpaths open to all. Families began to live on boats on the canals and it is such a family that I have joined.

Reading my stories, relayed through David, you will see that I am a young bollard with all of my life before me. I fall in love, am dropped by my love (who loves another), and so go traveling on the canals. Reading my stories and adventures you will learn all about boats and canals, how silly adults can be and how wonderful canal life is: even for a bollard.
