Hey, guys!
I haven’t done anything with this Wattpad account for YEARS, but to anyone who might be curious (though I doubt anyone is), I’m currently editing my first novel that I hope to get published someday soon. It’s YA fantasy lgbtq+, and hopefully the first book in a series! When I made this account seven or eight years ago, I knew it was only the starting point for my writing career. Having recently finished my first draft, I’m proud to say that I’ve accomplished what I set out to do! I encourage any and all others to do the same, no matter how daunting the task may seem. We got this!
“Behold, my people, this, the harbinger of Death,” the king of Antharmine booms.
A hooded man scrapes a whetstone against his blade, preparing it for the girl who kneels shackled at the executioner’s block.
A girl with no name. No memories, and no idea why she’s to be beheaded.
Trembling, her breath quickens as the executioner rises to his feet. Staring into the frayed, dark holes cut out of his black hood, she feels Death looming at her neck.
“I didn’t do it,” she cries, but she’s terrified that it isn’t the truth. Questions plague her mind with doubt, with horror.
Am I really a murderer? Is that who I am?
But it doesn’t matter. There’s nothing left to do. This is the end.
