By the way everyone, while this fandomwide thing going around is over, friendly reminder that there are some other fandom things out there still! 
          
          https://www.wattpad.com/user/SecretSanta2015 is running a Secret Santa event for the KH/FF fandom and you should really go to their profile to check it out! It's been going on for a few years now and it might be a good way to really get in the spirit of things! 
          Let me know if there are any other fandom-wide events to signal boost while I'm still around!

One of the judges here, I think it's safe to say this contest is over now. 
          
          Not all of the judges were able to finish their reviews of every story, some of the judges ran into personal problems and weren't able to review stories at all. Though, every story has at least one or two reviews on it so everyone should be able to get something useful out of the reviews that they have. Personally, I know I only managed to judge about half of the stories so if anyone desperately wants another review then I can try to review their story if I haven't already, but I think that the judges that did post on all the stories did a pretty good job and I wouldn't want to get repetitive. 
          
          I'll be posting all the reviews that were finished for the second round and we'll have to leave this contest. Things were promising for a while, and it was great seeing everyone coming up with new stories, but shit happens. 
          
          Feel free to comment if you want elaboration on your story or more advice from any of the available judges on how to continue or improve now (You should comment the usernames of who you thought were judges on here for shits and giggles and we'll have a fun poll while I post the results. I'll die before I tell you if you're right, but I'm curious as to who you guys thought were involved.) 
          
          No matter what happens, you guys still shouldn't stop writing. I know some of you got rougher reviews than others, but remember that you can take any negative criticism and learn from it. Keep learning. Don't give up just because some anon judge thought your story wasn't the best. Take their criticism, improve, and prove them wrong, that's the best you can do now. 
          
          Thanks for sticking with us this long! It's been fun! Keep writing and getting better guys! Just because the contest is over doesn't mean you can't enjoy each other's works, be sure to comment on each other's stories and talk to each other to help each other improve!

So uh, what's happening with this now?

One of the judges here posting a public service announcement for everyone involved in the contest! We all know that round one was hell and some of us walked out with battle scars. 
          The deadline for all stories has ended, so that means judging is set to begin. Judges have been told to give more constructive criticism, but these people are by no means completely professional and there is no guarantee that they'll spare any feelings. This is a competition after all, you have to give it your best or get out while you can. 
          That being said, this is everyone's chance out. Right here, right now. Judges may be harsher than last time if they so deem fit (we'll try not to make anyone cry). 
          So, to everyone involved, please comment or PM that you still want to be in the contest or not and stories will be removed from the list accordingly. 
          
          That being said though, all the judges are fairly busy right now and while we're trying to get enough of us together to score everything, no promises on getting anything done soon. So be sure to read and review other stories and to have your readers vote on your chapters! That's all!

Well, tonight is full of announcements, but if you're going to pay attention to any of them, make it this one!!!!
          THERE IS AN EXTENSION PERIOD; THE FINAL DAY TO SUBMIT YOUR UPDATE FOR ROUND 2 IS NOW MARCH 14TH AT 11:59 PM!!!! That means if you didn't make the February 24th deadline, have no fear. You now have until the 14th. The judges are pretty busy and probably wont be done with round 2 by then anyway, so I figure why not allow a period for you to squeeze your update in if you haven't already? It's not like we'll be ready for the next round for a while anyway. 
          
          Just a note, I've already taken everyone who didn't update on time out of the reading list, and you wont be let back onto the list until your update is posted. Let me know when it's up and I'll put you back on, but I wont put it back until you've proven that I'm not just going to have to take it down again on the 14th if you miss the deadline again.

Also, so as many of you know, @AmorettiElle said that she didn't think it was fair for her to get an extension on the deadline and felt like I was just letting her continue because we're friends. I think that because her computer broke and she let everyone know weeks ago that she wouldn't be able to update anything for a bit that it's fine and she should be allowed to continue. (I mean it's not like on the day chapters were due she was like 'oh no, my lappys broken, I can't update!' like we all knew she was having trouble in advance, so I think an extension is completely called for.)
          Because we couldn't decide amongst ourselves,  I thought I'd ask the rest of the competition if they had an opinion. Yes, she missed the deadline, but we all knew she would well in advance that she would because of laptop issues. I think an extension is fair, she thinks it's favoritism. What do you think? Be our stalemate breaker!! xD

If you don't mind too terribly, please dedicate the next chapters to this account (@BestNewKHFFStory ) so we can get everything in for judging  without having to go digging for your updates. If you don't, that's fine too, but it makes our jobs a helluva lot easier and I'd appreciate it. =3

One more thing. What do you mean by switching tenses? Like can I get an example of some kind?
