If you’re feeling anger, resentment or heartbreak right now, you’re not alone. To forgive and forget is almost always easier said than done.
Often times, it’s due to perfectly valid reasons like a terrible co-worker, a jealous friend, a dissolving relationship or more complicated family problems.
At the end of the day, holding on to these feelings is what truly holds us back
Forgive not for the other person, but for yourself, this is the only way to truly heal
Admitting when you yourself have been an asshole is a big step
Apologise when you have hurt someones feelings, or been mean to them
Your words have more power than you know
For those who I have said mean things to, or have been mean to, I am truly sorry
If I've ever said anything that was taken out of context,
It was impulsive and not truly who I am
My heart is pure and full of love and compassion
