Hey! I just wanted to let you know that I really appreciate the effort you put into your work, and your sincerity truly comes through in your apology. As writers, we sometimes try new things to add depth or contrast to our stories, and it can be hard to predict how everyone will perceive it. Personally, I like the idea of you tackling complex topics because it brings attention to real-life issues and opens up discussions on important themes. It makes the story feel more authentic and impactful. Don’t be too hard on yourself; learning and growing is part of the creative process. Your readers appreciate your talent, and your honesty means a lot. Keep writing with passion, staying true to what you want to convey. We’re here to support you!

Thank you truly! It means a lot to hear that and to hear from you. I’m on the edge of what to do next to not totally upset the readers- without having to undo everything with a cop-out plot twist like fever dream or brain tumor coma. Like you said it’s all a trial and error thing. And I always appreciate the insight and critics— but also the support from the community who also writes and deals with the never ending want to keep readers happy while trying to stand out and discuss different things throughout our work. New Amsterdam as a show tried to talk relative topics to daily struggles and convey different lifestyles, issues, and perspectives. And the longer I write for Max and Helen—the more I too strive to add realism and serious issues to my stories. I don’t want to be the Hallmark of Sharpwin, but sadly sometimes it feels that way: which is why I add these weird twists and topics sometimes to try to not only keep it different, but also make it realistic that things aren’t always perfect and things can arise in anyway to make people struggle to work around them. Anyway- thank you for reaching out. It really means a lot ❤️☺️
