I live in New Zealand with my wonderful wife and two young children, and am currently studying towards a Civil Engineering degree after some years in tech support and IT.  Writing is a love of mine and has been for many years, though I would like to be able to spend more time on it than I can at the moment.  My reading and writing interests are primarily science fiction, but I enjoy a number of other stories as well, and generally love learning.  I like stories that me get thinking, and hope that what I write also gets others thinking.
