I be having ideas that I put in my drafts, cover and cast list, the whole nine yards… then I see people drop stories that are similar and I immediately delete it…

And no that doesn’t mean copying word for word, but you’re allowed to have ideas and do them your own way, and sometimes others may have those same ideas, but we all have our own way of executing them.

@Beyzbbygrl often times I’m just honest about have an idea with similar tropes/archetypes/themes, because at the end of the day we would have half the movies and books we do if we all didn’t take simple ideas and expand on them, or take something that was done and switch it up. That’s the whole point of being inspired or creative, you make these stories your own
