Welcome to my profile. I am so pleased you dropped by!!! ❤️ 
I am a Canadian!  However, I love England too, and its literary heritage. 

Friends brought me to Jane Austens home and to Charles Dickens home in Portsmouth. I stepped on Charlotte Bronte's tombstone. Perhaps, that is where I caught the bug for the genre I enjoy writing. 

I joined Wattpad around the beginning of October/2017.
Reading and writing have become my greatest joy in life since I have retired, next to visiting with my children and grandchildren. 

I have been writing for over 15 years. My main writing interests lie in historical fiction, although, I enjoy any well-written work and am fairly good at editing.   

My favorite book is Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte. The Austen novels are awesome, too! I read every minute I have free. I love words! Realizing that I loved to search for meanings, I began writing a journal. Research is fun for me. 


Sister Dear is the second novel I've written so far. 
The story is based on my paternal grandfather's sister. She became a nun in Czechoslovakia in the latter part of the nineteenth century. Sorry! If you want to know more, you will have to read the novel. 

I have also started a new book of short stories. One is a Gothic Tale. Another is a fiction story of my fifth great grandfather, Jean Baptiste Lagimodiere. 

I am not a professional by any means, but daily I strive to improve.
