I'm so delighted that a girl from Nairobi has found my stories, and thank you ever so much for voting for Risking All for Love.
It's set at Holy Cross Mission in the remote village of Bolahun, Liberia, where I served as a Peace Corps teacher.
But I and other friends vacationed in East Africa. Our plane landed in Nairobi, but in no time we were off to Tsavo National Park, Malindi, Mombasa, and through Tanzania, Zanzibar, Uganda, and back to Nairobi via Kissimu.
In fact, my profile pic was taken at Mandara Hut on Mount Kilimanjaro.
My experience in Africa is woven into every story set there, and real people there have inspired my characters.
