Finals are officially over! Guess what that means, y'all? More time to write and to get through the rest of the entries for Emerald Awards! I'm so stoked and so glad to have free time save work, which I will have to do full-time now that break is in session. 

I've been so inactive, y'all. It's embarrassing. Next week is finals, and then I'll finally be free and have time to write and finish up the awards! I am so sorry for not letting y'all know sooner... that was not my intention. You guys are angels for being so patient.

No, I'm not dead, just very tired and busy. I've had a lot of major projects and soccer games the past few weeks. I'm really, really wanting to get back to judging the awards. I will. Thanksgiving Break is coming up. Once I get through the major papers and projects due before then, I will have more free time on my hands. College is rough, lol.

You know your brain is running thin on imagination when you start the writing of a short story at 8 PM and it takes you 5 and a half hours to write 11 pages and only then can call it a complete rough draft. It's due for tomorrow, or I guess today, but it's 2:10 AM right now and I'm not sure if I'll be able to get any sleep. I still have a 2-5 page paper to write for a different class and about 30-ish pages to read for another different class. Why do I do this to myself. I guess I didn't think the short story would take so long. Rookie mistake. I'm a junior, I should know better.
          
          I have soccer game tomorrow, too, so hopefully I can get a nap in before the game.
