I'm trying out writing again, what do you guys think of a cross between fiction and non-fiction basically im writing an isekai, and I'm wondering if it should be like a replica of our real world but with magic and set in the past but with like real historical elements does that sound cool?

@taruthe not yet because I've been trying to figure out a goal for the main character as well as which way I want to start it, so for example I could begin with the cliche for isekai and just have “you died welcome to this world now” the thing that a lot of isekais do, or I could have it be more to do with the main characters ability lets say they have the ability to teleport and whenever they lose control of it they get teleported to a “random” place in time this was the other option I had and eventually decided on, and it gets harder because I also have to think how to include history elements into the story but don't worry 100% plan on doing this it just might take some time to figure out stuff like that
