          13tlu and I achieved Deans List!! At our school where we are doing our sophomore year together :3 yay us!!

          That's something that I've been hearing my entire life. Ive looked at it from every angle and pressed it into my heart so that i will never forget the shape of it. It's a blanket for when im cold and lonely.
          
          Today was crappy. We're trying to move and valiantly attempting not to stress each other out. I lost my glasses and my head feels like its in a vice(the amount of ibuprofen ive consumed in the past few days is proooobably unhealthy). And boy howdy do i love being mocked for my special interests and ridiculed for my career choice. It's hardly the first time thats happened though.
          
          and now its 12 am and im trying to cram a bible study down my throat bc ive been soooooo poor about keeping up with it lately. ive been missing the comfort of my religion and King but i've just been too lazy to try to find it again.
          
          And the study video said smth along the lines of "Everything God does takes years. So why do you expect yourself to be changed overnight?
          
          You can't get everything right the first time."
          
          and I broke. Im used to getting everything right the first time. I've heard stuff like this before, but i somehow convinced myself they werent meant for me and were just half-baked efforts at ingenuine comfort. But today I felt the Lord press that sentiment onto my heart.
          
          and i reealized that it wasnt just "Jesus loves you". It's "Jesus loves me".
          
          Like. Real me. With my nerd interests and my inability to realize when to stop talking and my future career and my friends. Not some idealized version of myself who can sit still and focus at the same time and is good and receptive. If He wanted that he would have made it. But nah. He crafted me with His own two nail scarred hands. and so He wants all of me. Because Jesus loves me.
