I feel like book is going to be a fun adventure to write since the prompt involves fortunes notes and I'm actually someone who keeps a box of fortunes. I will be using those, so it's a bit of planning and a bit of thinking on my feet based on the fortune note I pull out.
It bugs me that I write so quickly and have such an acute and concise thought process, because then I meet word/page goals way ahead of schedule and then procrastinate on editing for the remainder of time.
I need to learn the art of discipline. I need to believe I can turn out equally good work even if I don’t wait until the last minute. I know my books would definitely benefit from another approach.
I don’t usually make outlines or anything, but I’m trying it this time in hopes of writing a more compelling story. I might forgo it before the end though. lol
I’m a little late to ONC this year( I was actually late last ye too ♀️) but I came just in time. I’ve been mulling over an idea for a few weeks now and I have just the motivation I need to bring it to life.

@chessaandersen Same actually. I was really stuck on the last chapter last night. But I'm giving these final chapters another look/edit and then I'll submit the entry. I feel refreshed and less distracted so I have high hopes.
@chessaandersen yes! I'll be looking it over and making some changes. Not happy with the last chapter but it's better than nothing. And I have all day to edit!
